From Lake Geneva to the Rhine at Basle, this is where is going the trail of the SWISS JURA MARATHON, the longest mountain-endurance run/race in Europe. The runners follow the Jura ridge trail in 7 daily stages, crossing a region like a postcard, hilly mountains, rocky faces, lonely farmhouses, but also lovely villages and cities with historic scenes.
International endurance race every two years for:
- individual race-runners, in 2 categories - women/men (Runner K350)
- Duo's, 2 x 175 km (Team K350)
- 7 daily stages of 45 to 56 km (total 350 km)
- daily uphill/downhill of 1290 to 2020 m; total +/-11000 m
Tevens 7 daagse race over 175 km. Dagelijkse etappen van 20-29 km. Stijgingen 550 m - 1210 m. Hoogteverschil +5000 m / -8000 m.
