Message 7 Feb.2006: Unfortunately, the organizing committee was still awaiting permissions by the community council in the beginning of February, and decided to cancel the organization due to the increasing uncertainty and the growing restraint in preparation time for both athletes and committee
Preliminary dates are: start on Sunday 30 July and finish on Saturday 5 August (in line with the week that Erkrath 2004 and 2005 was held)
After the successful editions of the 6-days in Erkrath (D) in 2004 and 2005, race director Sigi Bullig decided to organize Erkrath 6 days every other year, so the third edition will be in 2007.
Erkrath-participant Theo Cloostermen was so enthousiastic about the Six Days that he suggested to organize a 6 days event in his own city Veldhoven in the even years in between, starting with 2006.
He formed a committee with Jim Dieterman and Vincent Schoenmakers, and they hope to have obtained all licences (for camping near the track etc) by mid January 2006.
