Een van de loopwedstrijden langs de rivier de Thames. Vorig jaar won Wouter Hamelink de wedstrijd met grote voorsprong. Inschrijving kan via de website.

This year the Thames Trot in a qualifying race for Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® which I am quite proud of.
This is great race to prepare for even bigger challenges, using the banks and towpaths of England's largest river as well as footpaths and bridleways we have created an Ultra distance course that will always keep you interested.
Starting in Oxford at the Prince of Wales Pub Which can be found at:-

which is about 3 miles south of Oxford centre. From the pub it is a short jog down to the lock which is crossed and then straight onto the Thames Path.
The landlord at the pub is very happy to have us, there is a large car park at the front which he is happy we use for the day and he will have the coffee on to warm us up before the start.
For those people intending to travel by train we will arrange a pick up at the station on the morning of the race and if you are interested in this please let me know so that I can gauge numbers. From the pub it is a short jog down to the lock which is crossed and then straight onto the path.
The run follows the course of the Thames to that other great rowing venue, Henley where we finish near the band stage on the green at Henley opposite the boat houses which is also a short walk from the railway station which is good for car parking or transport back to Oxford.
As well as a great run we can promise you regular feed stations and a level of organisation that will not disappoint. A full race pack including start area, start times running numbers and event instructions will be sent to you at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
