De organisatie van de GUCR organiseert in 2017 naast de GUCR nog 2 lange kanaal lopen. Je kan je ook voor alle 3 lopen inschrijven, de Grand Slam.
Ondanks de enorme uitdaging is er altijd veel belangstelling voor deze wedstrijd. Er is een speciaal inschrijf systeem, zie hiervoor de website.
Het parcours van de lopen bestaat uit een mix van verhard en onverhard.
