Een leuke 3-daagse etappeloop in Kent met etappes van ca 44 km. De eerste dag gaat van Canterbury naar Folkestone. De tweede dag van Folkestone naar Sandwich en de derde dag van Sandwich weer terug naar Canterbury. Van de site de volgende omschrijving:

Challengers will be required to complete registration, kit checks and medicals on Thursday 16th September at the start venue.
08.00hrs Friday 17th September 2010.
£140.00 per person which includes a Challenge polo shirt and Ďgoodieí bag. Teams of 4 - £350.00 per team. All team members must finish for the team place to count.
The full distance will be about 82 miles spread over 3 stages/days. The longest day will be approximately 28 miles. The terrain will be varied and will be mainly off road although there will be short sections on public roads where this is unavoidable. The route includes coast, countryside and urban areas with points of historical interest along the way. There are some significant hills!
Challengers will be given a Ďroad bookí before the Challenge which will have comprehensive maps and instructions about each stage. The route will be marked and marshalled where possible. However, Challengers will need to check forthemselves that they are Ďon routeí so some basic map reading may be involved.
Challengers will be required to carry mandatory items of equipment at all times Ė these will be checked before the start and at random during the Challenge. Failure to have the necessary items will liable Challengers to disqualification.
There will be no stage time limits other than that Challengers need to be at the next finish point before dark on each stage.
Food and water:
Challengers will be required to carry any food needed for the duration of the Challenge - this is deemed top be a minimum of 2500 cals per day per person. Challengers may purchase extra supplies en route but there wonít be many shops. Challengers will be provided with hot water each evening at the finish point of each stage for cooking and washing as well as in the morning before they leave.
Accommodation at the end of each stage will be rudimentary but dry.
There will be checkpoints at regular intervals on each stage where Challengers will have access to water and first aid. Missing checkpoints will result in disqualification.
There will have a full medical team at all times to deal with first aid issues and other medical needs as they arise.
All finishers will receive an award commemorating their achievement. There will be additional awards in various categories which will be announced nearer the Challenge.
