CONCEPT
The Ultra NORWAY Race is a foot race of 140 km Non-Stop semi-self-sufficiency with 9000 meters of ascent and 9000 meters of vertical drop. Each competitor must carry his own backpack containing her food, mandatory equipment and personal equipment. The race takes place on the European continent, in northern Norway, between the Lyngen Alps and the city of Tromsø.
Technical support and a medical team were present during the event. Participants must follow the path marked out by the organizers and the road book instructions given before departure. There are control points at regular intervals.
The time limit to travel the entire distance is 48 hours. To continue the event, competitors must respect the time restrictions of the various checkpoints. Technical support and a medical team were present during the event.
ROUTE
NORWAY Ultra Race takes place in Norway, 350 km north of the Arctic Circle. The start will be in the Lyngen Alps and the arrival on the waterfront of Tromsø, the city of adventurers.
Participants will discover magical and surprising landscapes fixtures associated with the ubiquitous blue fjords. The last kilometers will be the opportunity to experience the Arctic Cathedral and cross the iconic Tromso Bridge with stunning views over the city.
In July the day is permanent, we will enjoy the midnight sun and the beautiful scenery of northern Norway under the dazzling brightness of the Arctic.
