In Noorwegen worden dit soort wedstrijden al langer georganiseerd. In een periode van 24 uur wordt er elke 3 uur een 10 km gelopen. Dat betekent dat je uiteindelijk 80 km loopt.

Imagine - running Hytteplanmila once may be hard enough in itself - but how about running it eight times in a day? It's all about mental awareness !!!
The organizers have run Halden Ultrainterval, and the idea for Røyse Ultra comes precisely with the background of this participation. The whole world is hereby invited to run the world's best mile - 8 times - starting every three hours!
This is a wonderful social racing party that gives you childhood:
1. Condition and endurance test
2. Mental consciousness
3. Many new friends
We are proud to be the organizer of a slightly different ultrasound that will be arranged for the 4th time in 2018. In Røyse Ultra, many 10km runners with good endurance could also perform with shine - but clearly required; discipline in relation to pace, patience, mental strength and restoration jobs in terms of nutrition and rest.
The race starts Saturday 28/4 at 12:00 and has a new start every three hours. The last start is Sunday 29/4 at 0900, which means 8 * 10 km. We use the Hytteplanmila trail! The trail has asphalt all the way and is known as a very fast track ( www.hytteplanmila.no )!
Prize: Everybody receives medals, regardless of the number of rounds completed. Other prizes we will come back to on a later occasion.
Class division: Men and women. Only totals, but divided by stage. Result after each stage. It is working with live streaming at start and finish. In addition, it is possible to follow the runners throughout the course.
Accommodation and dining: Accommodation (during breaks between the intervals) Saturday to Sunday takes place in the hall at Svensrudmoen. We enter into an agreement with the General Hotel which is 5 minutes away in driving time, if anybody wants to stay there. For technical reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to stay in the hall from Friday to Saturday. Food and drink will be served between "each run". The feedback from previous years, our own experiences and experienced ultrasounders help us create a nutritional and exciting menu.
Other information:The race is marked and there will be a cyclist in front and at the back of the first stage. It will be a good night out all day long. Reflex Vest SHALL be used on stages that are carried out when dark. Use of headlamp is optional, but not necessary. In the darkest areas, torches light up. When the steps are taken you must think about your own safety, be careful along the way and think there may be traffic around you. There will be minimal guards in the race. Red Cross or other rescue crew will be available throughout the event. Their organization will come back to later.
